Ciputra World Jakarta is developed and managed by the Ciputra Group, a company built on the conviction that property development is a form of entrepreneurship — that a developer’s job is to create communities, not merely to sell buildings.

Our Founder

Dr. (HC) Ir. Ciputra (1931–2015) was an Indonesian entrepreneur and the founder of Ciputra Group. Born in Parigi, Central Sulawesi, he reshaped Indonesia’s property industry by introducing the integrated township and the mixed-use development to a market that had known neither.

With an engineering degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung, he combined technical training with entrepreneurial conviction to create developments that changed the shape of Indonesian cities — beginning with Pondok Indah, Jakarta’s first integrated residential township. His philosophy centred on building not just properties, but complete communities that raise the quality of life around them.

Group Leadership

The district is developed by the Ciputra Group and its listed and subsidiary companies, including PT Ciputra Development Tbk and PT Ciputra Property. Day-to-day management of Ciputra World Jakarta sits with the estate management team on site.
